Find My Strengths

Have you already taken the CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) assessment at some point but need help recovering your information?  No problem!

  1. Go to www.gallupstrengthscenter.com
  2. Log into the portal using the email address you used to take your original Strengths assessment as “Username”
  3. Try using one of your passwords
  4. If it does not work, click on “Need help with your username or password” – the Account Assistance page will let you know if the email address you are attempting has been used for the assessment or not
  5. Once logged in you will be able to log into the Gallup Strengths Center portal and access your Strengths reports, as well as update your email address.
  6. If it turns out that you no longer have access to the email address you used to take the assessment, call 1-888-561-5270 (Monday-Thursday 7 a.m.-7 p.m. CST; Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m. CST) to have them update your account manually.

 

Take the CliftonStrengths Assessment

If you have never taken this assessment before, we invite you to do so with our compliments.  We will be sending a code to you on or around September 16th so you can take the assessment beforehand and fully participate in the networking event.

  • The assessment will take at least 45 minutes to complete
  • The questions to be timed as to get your most authentic answers
  • You will receive your “Top 5 Strengths” upon completion
  • You will need to complete the assessment by September 27th

Meet Our Coach

Marisa is a multicultural intellectual, consultant and musician who has worked with organizations in several countries. Her deep experience in talent development and cultural awareness bridges enterprises in diverse industries.

Marisa holds a Master of Arts in International Relations, with a concentration in Development, from St. Mary’s University and also is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach facilitating dynamic workshops on different performance skills integrating a Strengths-based culture for individuals and groups.

Born and raised in Torreón, Coah., Mexico, Marisa relocated to Texas to start college at only 16 years of age. She obtained an honor’s degree, Cum Laude BA in French and Political Science, from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2002. As an international student she worked part-time in IT, research, and community relations spending her summers in intensive academic experiences. She studied French at L’Université Catholique de l’Ouest and Mexican history and anthropology at the Universidad Nacional de Antropología e Historia in Mexico City. At the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, DC, she interned at the Sustainable Development and Environmental Unit and at L’Alliançe Française d’El Paso establishing a French language school. The National Council on US-Arab Relations selected her to represent the US after 9/11 on an academic trip to Kuwait.

After graduation Marisa moved to San Antonio, TX to work at a local nonprofit organization for people with disabilities, managing a grant-training program, offering social work services, and fundraising events for almost 5 years. Marisa was recruited by Strengths-based global company Rackspace in early 2007 to manage the Asian-Pacific account base during night shift while finishing her graduate degree. She received the 2007 Marianist Scholarship on Development for excellence in academic performance at St. Mary’s University; simultaneously providing her international clients with “Fanatical Support,” mainly in South Asia, and organically providing intercultural training to US and UK coworkers.

By mid-2008 Marisa was working as a corporate trainer bringing intercultural awareness to employee training programs in the HR department managing companywide customer-facing employee onboarding using Strengths for 5 years. Marisa’s first Strengths certification was in 2011 by Houston-based Evolve Performance Group.

In 2012, Marisa was one of four founders of the Latin American (LATAM) division of Rackspace doing international business strategy and marketing; translation and localization to Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, and leading visits to headquarters in both languages while growing the team from 4 to 40 employees in one year. By 2014 returned to HR as the company-wide Strengths Program Manager facilitating all Strengths workshops and coaching and obtaining her Gallup Strengths Certification. She also supported new employee orientation facilitating for up to 120 new employees monthly.

By 2015, Marisa decided to pursue consulting full time balancing family, community and entrepreneurship, and has been incredibly successful serving clients with passion while growing her business organically.

Marisa educates and develops global organizations bridging people in international workplaces through her authentic talent development consulting, engaging courses, profound coaching and brilliant speaking engagements. She believes in a global workforce where people across cultures cultivate reciprocal working relationships for greater social and economic impact.

Stemming from her experience with international entities, languages and social sciences background; Marisa provides a holistic perspective to talent development, bringing awareness, knowledge and respect in a multicultural, multilingual and artistic approach. With the ability to work in English and Spanish, fluent in French, with advanced knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese and basic Hindi, Marisa’s regional expertise includes Latin America, Latin Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.

After 8 years of experience in a Strengths-based global organization, including managing the company-wide Strengths program, and holding the official Gallup Certification on Clifton Strengths, Marisa leverages her 12 years of experience with positive psychology and 15-year career in HR, international business and social services to transform the global workforce effectively using Gallup StrengthsFinder.

Sponsor, Faculty and Board Member of Executive Book Review organization of life-long learners, and member of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Marisa lives a sustainable lifestyle in her family permaculture farm building a rammed earth house.
